Pine Bedside Table

This was a fun project we did in the winter time. Debbie milled up the rough cut before we started taking the pictures, but if you click on the picture below you ca see some of the construction pictures.

I used the same stain on the metronome box as this as we had tons left over. This is then finished with 3 coats polyurethane.

Pine Metronome Box

My mom needed a safe way to carry her metronome with her, so I whipped up this box over a couple of weekends, while I waited for it to stop raining.

THe hinges and front clasp came from Lee Valley, great place for all things woodworking!

Prototype for salad spoon and fork set

Hey all,

Been a while again, but here is the latest from the shop. This is a prototype for a salad fork and spoon that was requested. This is the first attempt at creating these carved items where we actually had to follow a design given to us.

The final product will be in walnut, so stay tuned we will post the finished items when they are complete.

In other news we have updated the site to be friendly with PDA’s and iPhones, so that those of you using mobile devices, PDA’s or iPhones should have a better vewing experience.

Replacement Cabinet Door

My neighbour has a TV stand and the door on one side got broken, so I was asked to see if I could fix it. The frame was pretty messed up so built a new frame, but was able to use the panel.

This was a quick and easy project and did not cost them much to have it done.

Pine laptop tray

Pat was in need of a laptop tray to use in bed or sitting on the couch, this was the first design I came up with, not really all that happy with it as it does not fold up although I do like the looks of it. Look for a new prototype in the future as I try and come up with a better design.
