Well here we go again. New cell phones arrived and none too soon, can’t believe how limited I feel when using my old iPhone.

For those of you not familiar with the X10 , it runs Android 1.6. Although an older version of Android still beats the iPhone hands down as far as I am concerned.

Rather than me rewriting all the details about this phone here is a link that pretty much sums up exactly how I feel about the phone.

Unboxing Xperia X10 – The GreatBigDog Report

Let me add the keyboard really does suck big time. So I replaced it with this one [MOD] HTC_IME . Make sure to use the Hi Res version.

Hoping to get the Xperia X10 rooted in the not too distant future, so I can get back on custom ROM again.

If I have some time I’ll try and post more on this in the future, for now back to packing… more on the packing thing soon.

Have a great day!

So friend of ours manages to have his cell take the big plunge into the depths of the toilet, like everyone he does the splash and grab and get’s the cell phone back.

First off he takes the battery out and uses the hairdryer on it for a bit, no wait it get’s better !

He then put’s the cell phone in the toaster oven on 125 degrees and slowly bakes the phone over 4 hours, turning occasionally…. I guess he figured it had been basted enough, so he just turned it over occasionally.

Well folks I can tell you took me the longest time to quit laughing when I heard this, but it worked so he is back in business and now all of you know how to dry out your cell phone when the inevitable happens.

We had a terrible tragedy this week..

You can read the story HERE .

Amber Lee was our niece and cousin , we are so saddened by the loss of 2 such young people, we can not even find the words to express how badly we feel.

We had the great opportunity to watch Amber grow from a baby to a young women, to hear the laughter and share in the tears, but only had the opportunity to be with 9 month old Payton a few times in her very short life.

We loved them both and all we can say is may God take care of you Amber and Payton and we know you will be happy spending eternity together.

We will be spending the next 2 days with wakes and the funeral and will grieve for our loss, but we will also be able to find joy in the fact that mother and daughter are together and that Amber died a hero trying to save young Payton’s life.

Until we meet again ….

Uncle Steve, Aunt Debbie & Chris
